Inspirations Kováč EXCLUSIVE glass

The Kováč EXCLUSIVE product is characterized by its elegance. Beyond its architectural beauty and functionality, Kováč EXCLUSIVE merges design with durability. This combination has become a standard in numerous external and internal design applications.

Design Kováč EXCLUSIVE offers a balance of privacy while maximizing the effective use of natural light. Characteristics such as density, opacity, and colour variations control transparency and light transmission, creating a striking sense of naturalness within building interiors.

Technological breakthrough: Kováč EXCLUSIVE glass

Kováč EXCLUSIVE represents an advanced method that avoids complex and hazardous processes, ensuring no negative impact on the environment. This technique provides maximum flexibility for artistic glass design applicable to both interior and exterior settings. It presents a clean, modular, and safe approach to achieving printing effects on glass, whether matte or glossy.

ENERGY CALCULATIONS

Building facades are among the most significant contributors to the energy impact on building structures. In the initial phase, we simulate both the environment and the building’s location, and during development, we relay this information to the design team. This crucial data is gathered to prevent inefficient strategies for reducing energy load while simultaneously enhancing comfort for occupants within the building.

We are excited to introduce Dip – Energy to you. This software delivers crucial information for various stakeholders involved in the design, development, and construction of buildings, including architects, planners, contractors, and developers. Dip-Energy is specifically calibrated for our technology and provides a unique advantage exclusively for our customers.

By determining a specific coefficient of heat gain and the percentage of light transmission, architects can streamline and expedite their work when designing the glass components of a building.

  • We evaluate the energy demand during the initial phases of the project

  • Without requiring printed materials, we will supply you with information tailored to each type of proposal

Sandblasted effect

Another advancement in the realm of glass printing is digital printing that features a sandblasted effect. More specifically, the final product is either equivalent to or significantly superior to traditional sandblasted glass. Because this method does not involve any mechanical damage to the glass, maintaining and cleaning it is vastly simpler than with a sandblasted design. This technique represents a revolutionary, innovative, and versatile approach to printing, tailored for both interior and exterior design applications.

Anti-slip print

We can describe anti-slip paint as a clear and somewhat translucent coating that features a sandblasted texture, which provides an anti-slip effect in both dry and wet conditions. Unlike other anti-slip coatings that achieve their effectiveness through either a very thick application or a rough surface, this anti-slip paint is non-invasive. You can select from our available print designs or download a document containing detailed technical information and certifications here.

Frequently Asked Questions

The essence of digital printing technology using ceramic colours on glass lies in transferring the desired design from a graphic background—where the creation or modification of the chosen motif occurs—through specialized software to a digital printer. This printer then applies the selected design using a combination of six fundamental ceramic colours via the glass printer’s digital device.

Following a brief drying period, the glass featuring the printed design is transferred to our tempering furnace. At temperatures around 600-620 degrees Celsius, this printed glass becomes opaque. During this process, due to the unique technological characteristics of the colours utilized, the thickness of the applied colours is significantly diminished as a result of thermal effects on the glass. Consequently, it develops remarkable functional properties and, in layman terms, is “baked” directly into the glass.

The maximum dimensions for printed glass are 4000 x 2100 mm.

The standard delivery timeframe for the goods is a minimum of 15 working days following the binding order, which typically includes a print motif that was mutually agreed upon and confirmed. For larger orders, the delivery date is determined through mutual agreement between the involved parties.

The principle applies that for all motifs, and it doesn't matter whether they are individual photos or motifs from the photobank, the highest possible quality of the background  "CLICK HERE" is required considering the final impact on the actual size of the glass. Images from mobile phones or various paper materials are not suitable to use. You can download the exact procedure for choosing the right theme "CLICK HERE“.

Generally, printing is primarily done on extra clear or clear glass, depending on the customer’s design preference. For double glazing, we typically favour position No. 2 when viewed from the outside. In cases involving special glass types, such as those incorporating metal, and for triple glazing, the placement of digital printing using ceramic colours is always determined in consultation with our company’s specialists. This decision also considers the desired light transmission for both interior and exterior spaces.

Key beneficial properties and advantages of digital printing with ceramic colours compared to UV printing:

  • resistance to mechanical damage

  • borderless printing

  • no need for glass lamination

  • the final product is tempered glass

  • heat resistance up to 200 degrees Celsius

  • option for anti-slip printing

  • ability to imitate sandblasting in prints

The printed design is resistant to UV rays, water, steam, and frost. Consequently, glass featuring this design can without problems be utilized outdoors, where these elements are present—such as in exterior house railings, railings around outdoor pools, soundproof walls and partitions, winter gardens, and backgrounds for barbecue areas. Additionally, it is also suitable for indoor environments where resistance to these factors is particularly beneficial in bathrooms and restrooms within both individual and communal buildings, wellness centres, spa and balneo facilities, shower and massage areas in fitness centres, as well as when outfitting indoor swimming pools and saunas in multi-functional buildings and shopping centres.

Our company boasts extensive experience and a skilled team dedicated to the orientation and assembly of manufactured products at the location specified by the customer. With mutual agreement, we can also carry out these tasks internationally. The scheduling of orientation and installation will be determined through discussions between both parties.

In our company, we possess comprehensive technological capabilities for producing non-standard dimensions and shapes of glass, which includes making cutouts, holes, facets, and more. Additionally, we offer a complete range of fittings and handles as part of the assembly process according to the customer’s specifications. Customers are always informed about the options available for custom designs and often receive photographs of specific fittings to choose from once an agreement has been reached.
